Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process that supports individuals in identifying, pursuing, and achieving their personal and professional objectives.

Through powerful questioning, active listening, and empathy, I help my clients clarify their values, strengths, and areas for growth and devise strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.

What is the difference between Coaching and Therapy?

While there are similarities, it’s essential to understand the differences:

  • Therapy focuses on healing psychological or emotional issues and improving mental well-being.

  • In contrast, coaching is a partnership between the coach and client, where the coach empowers the client to identify and work towards their own goals through self-discovery, reflection, and action.

Do you give advice?

Coaching is non directive; only you understand your life, your goals, your strengths and your needs. Through a combination of constructive questions and purposeful conversation in a supportive and confidential environment, my coaching gives clients the space they need to reach their own conclusions relating to the change they want to make, and how to successfully take this forward.

I do share practical advice in my Facebook page.
